All you need to do for a DOT physical is bring your glasses, contact lenses, and/or hearing aids, if applicable. We’ll take a look at your medical history for any issues with respiration, high blood pressure, your heart, diabetes, your lungs, your liver, or your kidneys. We’ll also perform tests including an eye exam, a hearing test, a drug and alcohol screening, a urinalysis, and a blood pressure and pulse test.

If your test results and medical history are fine, then you’ll be all done and good to go. If any issues turn up, then we’ll help you and your employer understand and address them, if necessary. Upon your request, we can send the test results to your physician, and we’ll send you home with a copy to take to your employer.
